Visit Nearest CSC Center
Enrolment Process for Punjab Worker Registration
- Interested eligible person shall visit nearest CSC center.Location of CSC center can beascertained from the information page on website of LIC of India, Ministry of Labour and Employment and CSC
While going to CSC for enrolment, he shall carry with him the following:
- Aadhar Card
- Saving/Jan Dhanbank Account details along with IFSC Code (Bank Passbook or Cheque Leave/book or copy of bank statement as evidence of bank account)
- Initial contribution amount in cash for enrolment under the scheme.
- Village Level Enterpreneur (VLE) present at the CSC will key-in aadhar number, name of subscriber as printed on aadhar card and date of birth as given in aadhar card and the same will be verified with UIDAI database
- System will auto calculate monthly contribution payable according to age of the subscriber

Punjab Labour Card Benefits 2025
1. Educational Assistance | Financial assistance for children of registered workers Classes 1–8: ₹3,000 per year. Classes 9–12: ₹5,000 per year. Undergraduate/Technical Courses: ₹10,000–₹25,000 per year (varies by course). Professional Courses (Engineering, Medical, etc.): Up to ₹70,000 per year |
2. Marriage Assistance (Shagun Yojana) | ₹31,000 for the marriage of each daughter of a registered worker (up to two daughters). |
3. Maternity Benefits | ₹6,000 is provided to female registered workers for maternity assistance. |
4. Health and Medical Aid | Medical expenses, including accident treatment, are reimbursed to registered workers and their families. Critical Illness Support: Financial aid for treatment of major illnesses like cancer, kidney failure, or heart disease. |
5. Funeral Assistance | ₹20,000 is provided to the family of a registered worker for funeral expenses in case of their death or a dependent family member’s death. |
6. Disability Assistance | Financial support of ₹20,000 per year for physically or mentally challenged children of workers. |
7. Housing Assistance | Aid for the construction or repair of houses for registered workers, with amounts varying depending on project approval. |
8. Free Bicycles | Free bicycles are provided to children of registered workers studying in grades 9 to 12. |
9. Skill Development and Tool Kits | Tool Kit Scheme: Workers completing skill development training are reimbursed up to ₹5,000 for purchasing professional tools. Skill Enhancement: Free or subsidized vocational training programs for workers and their dependents. |
10. Pension Scheme | Monthly pension for registered workers after attaining 60 years of age. The amount depends on the contribution and duration of membership. |
11. Accidental Death/Disability Compensation | In case of accidental death: Compensation up to ₹2,00,000 to the worker’s family. In case of partial or full disability due to an accident: Compensation based on the degree of disability. |
12. Other Welfare Measures | Scholarships for meritorious students. Financial support for cultural and sports activities involving workers’ children. Emergency relief funds during natural disasters or accidents. |
